I met Steve in my first year of University, when he was roommates with my now husband. The confession is I used to be absolutely terrified of Steve; he always intimidated me, but since he was best friends with the guy I really liked, I was forced to get to know him. I look back on this and can’t help but laugh. Today, Steve is such a brother to me; he has taught me so much, cared for me, and is someone I always know will have my back. I am so thankful that the scary man I met in first year has become a big brother to me…plus he no longer terrifies me, so that’s a plus 🙂
I still remember the day that Steve told my husband and I that he liked Hannah. It didn’t take us long to guess this was where the conversation was going as he was sporting the same beaming smile that you will see in the photos below as he told us all about this girl. We loved getting to see them on their journey together and weren’t surprised that they were soon engaged!
Their wedding took place on Hannah’s parent’s property which conveniently is a B&B. In true Kelowna fashion, there was snow, rain, hail, sun, clouds, and then blue sky on their day…just to keep us on our feet 🙂 They had a beautiful ceremony and an intimate high tea reception. It was a day to remember!
When guys get their hair professionally done…
That time they almost fell over while we were taking photos…
When you ask the dudes to “naturally laugh…”
When you ask the dudes to “walk with style…”
Steve & Hannah – we are so excited for you both and wish you all the best in this new adventure!
