Hike [Golden Ears Park]

January 13, 2016 By MeganBenger Leave a Comment

My husband, Kelvin, and I are preparing to head into our 8 weeks of teaching full time in our full immersion practicum. It’s crazy to think that we are only a few months away from being fully certified teachers! With our unit plans done, we decided we needed to enjoy a day of being refreshed by the great outdoors; something we often fail to do as often as we should. This hike reminded us of the importance of closing our laptops, shutting off our phones, and taking a moment to remember how much beauty surrounds us, if only we take a moment to see it.
