I have officially done my most memorable family shoot…ever. My husband, Kelvin, came along with me and at the end, we both got into the car and turned and looked at each other. “My face actually hurts from smiling and laughing so hard,” he said. This was a problem I had come to expect and grow used to when it came to visiting these families.
Barbara and Parker, who are the Grandparents in the photos below, were our faithful neighbours for pretty much my entire childhood. They quickly became like family to us and to this day, I so deeply cherish them in my life. They come with the bonus of the best family, who we also got to grow up with.
I have honestly never laughed so hard while taking photos before. If you knew them, you would easily understand why, without even needing to look at the photos – but for those of you who don’t know them, you will quickly get to know their personalities just by seeing these photos…enjoy!
These are two of the kindest, most caring people you will ever meet. They have the most welcoming home you could ever imagine, and care for everyone around them like they are their own. They also host the annual “Gingerbread House Making Evening” so that also makes them extra-cool.
At times, I would realize the people in my shot were trying desperately hard not to laugh, so occasionally I would look behind me. This was not an unusual sight to see, believe it or not.
These photos were some of the most hilarious for me to shoot. This is one of the friendliest families you will ever meet, and I don’t think I have ever seen Cheryl, the Mom in this photo, not smiling. So watching them attempt these mean-muggin’ shots was highly entertaining.
These photos seriously crack me up – these two are so similar – for better and for worse 🙂
I used to question where Scotty, the son, got his personality from…but then I stopped.
Hopefully you’re beginning to realize why I love this family so much 🙂
